Amsterdam-based Textkernel, an AI-powered recruitment software company, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired its Amsterdam counterpart Joboti, a software startup that specialises in recruitment technology.

Everything you need to know about Joboti

Founded in 2016 by Luuk van Neerven and Stephan Kockelkoren, Joboti is a specialised automated candidate interaction technology supplier. The company says Its solution helps enhance the employment process, increase the efficiency of HR professionals and recruiters, and lower their workload.

Thus, the company makes it easier for recruiters to focus on high-value tasks like initiating meaningful interactions with available and interested candidates and accelerating the hiring process by finding better candidates for open jobs.

Van Neerven, says, “Joining Textkernel is an exciting step for Joboti. We are thrilled to be a part of a leading AI solution provider and to bring our automated candidate engagement technology to an even larger audience. Aim of this acquisition

With this move, both Joboti and Textkernel now share a common vision to provide seamless, automated, and scalable solutions for recruiters and sourcing professionals.

With the help of Joboti’s candidate engagement technology and Textkernel’s advanced parsing and matching technology, recruiters can discover and connect the best prospects with minimal work.

Gerard Mulder, CEO of Textkernel, says, “By incorporating Joboti’s capabilities, we can offer our clients an automated recruitment solution that allows recruiters and sourcers to focus more on candidate experience and making placements faster. This will significantly increase their efficiency, reduce costs and save them valuable time.”

Currently, recruiters are constrained by the laborious process of locating the best prospects and then getting in touch with them via social media, email, phone, or instant message to inquire about their availability and level of interest.

But recruiters can discover relevant applicants using AI-powered match technology and communicate with those who have the necessary skills, have expressed their interest in the position, are available, have updated their skills, and have even answered a vetting question.

With Joboti’s technology integrated into Textkernel’s AI-powered employment solutions, recruiters will be able to manage communication processes in the hiring process, such as job notifications, GDPR checks, pre-screenings, interview scheduling, and feedback messages.

Currently, Joboti has over 200 customers with integrations into leading ATS and Candidate CRM applications available across the Benelux, UK and North America. And since the software supports many languages, this acquisition will help Joboti to benefit from the global presence of Textkernel and expand faster into new countries.
